DATE AND NUTS BALLS 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. dates, chopped
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar

Mix eggs with sugar, salt, baking powder, nuts, dates, and vanilla. Add flour into mixture. Pour into a shallow baking pan, 9 x 13 inches. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for only 5 minutes, then cut into 36 squares. Drop each square into powdered sugar and roll. These keep for weeks when stored in airtight containers.
