1/2 c. butter, soft 1 c. sugar 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup 4 eggs 1 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. chopped nuts Combine together butter and sugar. Slowly add syrup, then eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour; blend in nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes (no longer) in 9"x13" pan. Let cool, then ice. ICING: 1 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/3 c. evaporated milk 1/2 c. chocolate chips (milk chocolate chips are best) Combine first 3 ingredients and bring to boil, boil for a couple of minutes. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and stir until dissolved. Quickly spread on brownies. Refrigerate and then cut. (If milk chocolate chips are used, you may need to mix with a mixer.) |
