GELATIN SALAD 
2 c. boiling water
2 (3 oz.) boxes lemon gelatin
2 c. carbonated lemon-lime drink
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
2 lg. bananas, sliced
1 c. sm. marshmallows

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. pineapple juice
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. whipped cream or Cool Whip

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and carbonated lemon-lime. When gelatin begins to thicken add drained pineapple, bananas and marshmallows. Pour into square pan 9x9x2.

For topping, cook first 5 ingredients until thick. Fold in whipped cream and pour over gelatin. (Cool topping before you add cream.) Top with grated mild Cheddar cheese (about a cup).
