SPINACH CASSEROLE | |
2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach 4 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. chopped onion 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 (6 oz.) pkg. hot cheese 1/2 c. vegetable liquid (from spinach) 1/2 tsp. pepper 3/4 tsp. celery salt 3/4 tsp. garlic 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Bread crumbs Cook spinach, drain and reserve 1/2 cup liquid. Melt butter over low heat. Add flour and stir. Add milk, stir until smooth. Add onion, cook until soft. Add vegetable liquid and stir until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, except spinach and crumbs. Stir in spinach. Pour into 9 x 13 inch casserole. Top with crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. |
