ELVIS PRESLEY CAKE 
CAKE:

1 box yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 c. sugar

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. butter
1 (16 oz.) powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Chopped pecans (opt.)

CAKE: Mix and bake cake according to directions on box. Add sugar to pineapple with juice and boil for 5 minutes. Punch holes in cake with a toothpick. While still warm, pour pineapple mixture over the top.

ICING: Use low mixer speed to blend softened cheese, butter and vanilla until creamy. Add the powdered sugar and blend well. Ice cake while warm and top with chopped pecans, if desired.
