SIMPLE CHICKEN IN A BAG 
A one dish meal with no pans to clean up.

GROUP I:

1 cooking bag
1 env. dry onion soup
1 tsp. basil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes

GROUP II:

3 med. carrots, cut in strips
3 med. zucchini, cut in 1" fingers
2 stalks celery, slivered

GROUP III:

Chicken pieces of your choice, sprinkled with paprika. Skinless are fine.

Put Group I ingredients in bag and squeeze to mix. Add Group II ingredients and turn bag to coat everything thoroughly. Place the cooking bag on a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Make the vegetables an even layer in the bag. Add chicken on top of vegetables. Close the bag.

Make 6 slits in the top. Cook 50 minutes until tender. Serve with rice or potatoes. You may add the potatoes to the vegetables in the bag if you wish.
