SALMON PUFF | |
2 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 c. milk 4 slices bread, broken up 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon, drained and flaked 2 eggs 3 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. onions, chopped fine 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Mix butter, milk and bread together; stir in salmon, then add egg yolks, lemon juice, onions, and salt and pepper. Beat egg whites until stiff, fold into mixture. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour; you can sprinkle paprika on before baking. Serves about 4- 6. |
