RAW APPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Add to above mixture, 3 cups chopped raw apples (preferably golden delicious). Sift together 3 cups all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix all ingredients together then add 1/2 cup walnuts. (Batter will be stiff.) Bake 30-40 minutes in moderate oven. Will make a 13 x 9 inch cake. While still hot punch holes in top and pour confectioners sugar icing on.
