HOFFMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 
8 c. flour
8 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
8 eggs
2 tbsp. vanilla
4 c. water
2 c. butter
2 c. salad oil
2 c. high fat cocoa (or 16 squares)
5 tsp. baking soda
2 c. buttermilk

In bowl combine first 3 ingredients. In saucepan combine water, butter, oil, and cocoa. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Add to dry ingredients while hot. Beat at medium speed until well blended. While still hot, beat in eggs and vanilla.
