2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. sweet milk
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sourdough
2 tbsp. cooking oil

Sift together the dry ingredients. Combine the sourdough with 1 egg and beat into the dry ingredients. Gradually add sweet milk. Stir in the oil and fry on a lightly oiled hot griddle.
