CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 1/4 c. rice 3 or 4 lbs. chicken leg quarters or cut up whole chicken 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of celery soup 1/4 c. melted butter 1/4 c. French dressing 1/4 c. milk Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix rice with soups, milk, butter and French dressing. Grease 13"x9" pan and pour half of mixture in bottom of pan. Arrange chicken pieces in mixture. Pour the rest of soup mixture to cover chicken pieces. Place in oven and bake for 2 hours. OR: If you have a microwave: Put plastic over baking dish and time cook on high power for 20 minutes and bake in regular oven for 1 hour. Serves 8. |
