MARY'S SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
5 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 lbs. canned sweet potatoes, drained, mashed
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. coconut
1 c. pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter, sliced
1/4 c. flour

Melt 5 tablespoons butter. Mix with sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, vanilla, eggs and coconut. Pour into baking pan and set aside.

In a bowl, mix together pecans, brown sugar and flour. Spread over sweet potato mixture. Lay sliced butter over top.

Bake 350 degrees until heated and the top is lightly browned. If sugar mixture browns before potatoes are heated, cover with foil.
