1 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts; optional
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sliced apples or 1 lg. can apple pie filling

Mix sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Then add nuts and chocolate chips. In separate bowl mix flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda. Add to sugar and egg mixture. Fold in apples. Batter will be thick. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
