5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook flour and milk to thick paste and cool. Mix Crisco, butter, sugar, and vanilla by hand until smooth and creamy. Add to paste mixture. Beat with electric mixer until light and fluffy.
