ANGEL FOOD ICE CREAM CAKE 
1 angel food cake (homemade or store), placed in freezer for 1 to 2 hours
1 qt. favorite ice cream or frozen yogurt
1 pt. whipping cream
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract or 2 tbsp. favorite liqueur

Slice angel food cake horizontally into 3 equal sections. Whip cream until stiff, adding sugar and flavoring (can also be tinted with food coloring). Spread ice cream on lower angel food cake layer, top with second cake layer and spread with remaining ice cream. Add third layer and "ice" with whipped cream. Place cake in freezer for at least 1 hour. Remove from freezer about 15 to 20 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh fruit.
