BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
7/8 c. butter
2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 banana, mashed
1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sliced maraschino cherries

Melt 1/3 cup butter in saucepan. Mix crumbs with butter. Reserve 1/2 cup crumb mixture; spread remaining mixture in 9x13-inch pan Freeze for 30 minutes. Cream remaining butter and powdered sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Spread over wafer crust; return to freezer. Whip cream; add sugar and cocoa. Fold in banana, nuts and cherries; spread over egg mixture. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs; freeze for 12-24 hours before serving.
