FLAKY BISCUITS 
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. skim milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. oil

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together into a mixing bowl. Pour oil and milk into 1 measuring cup but do not stir. Add all at once to flour mixture. Stir quickly with a fork until dough clings together. Knead about 10 times lightly. Place the dough on a piece of wax paper. Pat the dough to about 1/2" thick. Cut with medium size cookie cutter. Place biscuits on cookie sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 475 degrees. Yield: 12 biscuits.
