GRAMMY'S BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk, scant
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. blueberries

Cream shortening and sugar, add egg, stirring well.

Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt and add alternately with buttermilk. Shake 1 tablespoon flour over the blueberries and add to the mixture.

Bake in greased or paper lined muffin cups at 400°F for about 20 minutes.
