PEACH COBBLER 
1 (16 oz.) can peaches
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
1 stick butter
1/4 c. sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In medium saucepan cook fruit until boiling. Set aside.

In mixing bowl combine flour, 1 cup sugar, milk, baking powder and salt.

In a 2 quart casserole dish melt butter. Pour batter over butter. Add hot fruit. DO NOT STIR. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over entire casserole. Bake 20-30 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
