CHERRY CHOCOLATE SQUARES 
1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus devil's food cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs

Mix all ingredients except cherries. Add cherries last. Beat by hand, do not use mixer. Spread in 15x10 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk

Boil for 1 minute. Stir constantly. Take off heat and add 6 oz. package of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Pour on warm cake. When cool, cut into squares.
