BARBECUE SAUCE 
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. ketchup
1 can beer
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Liquid smoke (if desired)

In small saucepan, cook onion and garlic in oil until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for about 20 minutes or until thick as desired.

Makes 2 cups.
