TALLAHASEE BARBECUED BEEF 
4 lbs. ground beef
2 lg. onions, minced
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. all purpose flour
1 qt. flat beer or water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 c. ketchup
1-2 tbsp. chili powder
30-32 buns

Cook beef in two pans stirring to keep crumbly, until it looses red color. Add onions and pepper and salt. Add flour; mix well. Slowly add water and rest of ingredients except for the buns. Simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring once or twice. Serve hot on toasted buns. Filling and buns can be prepared a day ahead and reheated to serve.
