BROWN SUGAR NUT BREAD 
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. seedless raisins or chopped dates
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. milk
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Mix well, stir in milk, nuts and raisins. Pour batter into greased 5x9 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Turn onto a rack to cool.
