6 lg. cucumbers, peeled and seeded 6 med. onions 6 red peppers 6 green peppers 1/3 c. coarse salt 2 c. white vinegar 2 c. brown sugar 2 c. white sugar 1 tbsp. turmeric 1 tbsp. celery seed 1 tbsp. mustard seed Dice cucumbers, onions, and peppers. Add salt. Rinse and drain. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over diced vegetables; cook slowly 20 minutes. Stir often. Pack in hot jars. Seal with hot lids. |
