MYRTLE'S APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. oil
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped, peeled apples

Mix flour, soda, salt and spices; set aside. Beat sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Add flour mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Bake in bundt pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when tested.
