SIMPLE SORT OF CHEESECAKE | |
1 c. Cool Whip 1 c. powdered sugar 1 box Jiffy white cake mix 1 (16 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. cherry pie filling Make white cake mix according to package instructions. If you cannot find a Jiffy cake mix (which makes one single layer only), use any cake mix and make only one single layer in the flan pan. While cake is baking, mix together cream cheese, vanilla, powdered sugar and Cool Whip. When cake has cooled, turn out cake so that cake shell is upside down leaving you a cavity on top of the cake to fill. Fill cavity with cream cheese mixture. Use cherry topping to decorate top of cream cheese mixture anyway you would like. Christmas trees are fun using mint leaves. You can easily make a Valentine's heart or a flag for the 4th of July with blueberries and cherries. Take any extra whipping cream and spread it around edge of cake to look extra decorative. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. This is really a fun dessert! |
