RAISIN - NUT COOKIE | |
3 c. rolled oats 1 1/2 c. whole wheat pastry flour 1 c. raisins Sea salt 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1 c. barely malt or (honey or rice syrup) 1 c. water (if batter seems too thick add a tbsp. of water until desired thickness) Mix rolled oats, sea salt, flour, raisins and nuts together. Add oil and mix again. Add barley (honey-rice syrup) and mix thoroughly. Add water to make a thick batter. Place spoonful of batter about 1 1/2 inch apart on oiled cookie sheets and press down to form cookies. I cookies are too thick, they will not cook thoroughly. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Yield 1-2 dozen cookies. |
