OREO COOKIE DESSERT 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreos
1 c. melted butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
8 oz. cream cheese
6 oz. instant chocolate pudding

Layer and chill each layer 1 hour. Crush Oreos and mix 3/4 with melted butter. Put in 13 x 9 inch pan, spreading evenly. Mix sugar, cream cheese, and half of Cool Whip and spread over cookie layer. Mix pudding according to directions, but use 2 2/3 cups of milk and spread over cheese and sugar layer. Spread remaining Cool Whip carefully over pudding. Sprinkle reserved crushed Oreos over Cool Whip to garnish top. Chill until serving.
