LINGUINI WITH RED CLAM SAUCE 
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
5 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (12 oz.) cans whole tomatoes, squeezed
1 sm. can seasoned tomato paste
4 sm. cans chopped clams with water
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tsp. fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp. fresh basil, chopped
For that Jersey fresh flavor, cook down 6 Jersey tomatoes and add to canned tomatoes

Put olive oil, red pepper and garlic in medium size pot. Brown garlic and pepper. Cool. Add all tomatoes and paste, clams and water. Add salt, pepper, parsley, basil. Simmer approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours on low heat. Serve over linguini.

If possible, make sauce the day before using.
