CABBAGE AND NOODLES 
1 med. green cabbage
1 lg. onion
1/4 lb. butter
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt (or to taste)
12 or 16 oz. wide egg noodles

Finely dice onion. Rinse cabbage and slice into narrow strips. Melt butter in 10-12 inch deep skillet and add onion cooking until softened. To this, add cabbage, pepper and salt. Cook until cabbage is tender and lightly browned, stirring frequently. Prepare egg noodles as per package directions. When cabbage is lightly browned, add egg noodles, stirring ingredients well until thoroughly heated. (Serves 6.)

TO REHEAT: In small amount of butter heat cabbage and noodles in covered casserole at 350 degrees approximately 15-30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
