DOUBLE CHOCOLATE WALNUT CLUSTERS 
6 oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Melt 1/2 cup of the chocolate pieces. Cream together shortening, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Blend in melted chocolate and egg, beating well. Stir in milk. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Blend dry ingredients into creamed mixture. Stir in remaining chocolate pieces and walnuts. Drop by spoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes about 48 cookies.
