CANADIAN CHEESE SOUP 
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. onion, chopped
4 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
4 c. chicken broth
1 c. broccoli, chopped
1 c. cauliflower, chopped
6 oz. Velveeta cheese

Saute onion in butter until soft. Blend dry ingredients. Mix blend into butter mixture. Gradually add milk and broth. Cook until thick. Add cheese. Microwave vegetables and add to the liquid mixture. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
