1 c. meal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. butter
1 c. grated onion
1 tbsp. cream or sweet milk

Add together all ingredients; beat well. Roll out into hush puppies. Fry in deep fat until brown.
