SUMMER SQUASH PATTIES 
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg
1 tbsp. oil
3 c. coarsely grated squash
1 med. onion (chopped)

Combine first 6 ingredients beating until smooth. Stir in squash and onion. Drop by tablespoons into hot grease. Cook until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Makes about 2 dozen.
