BAKED STUFFED PEPPERS 
4 med. green peppers
2/3 c. cooked rice
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 sm. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped mushrooms
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. bread crumbs
Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Pepper, onion powder, chili powder (to taste)

Cut peppers in halves and core and clean. Par boil the peppers. Brown hamburger; add rice, onions, mushrooms and spices and brown a little longer.

Place peppers in baking dish and generously fill with rice and hamburger mixture. Pour tomato sauce into dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs on the top of each pepper and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
