JAM CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. butter
1 c. coconut
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. nuts
1 c. jam (grape or blackberry)

Mix sugar, eggs and butter. Beat until creamy and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well after each one. This will make 3 or 4 layers.

FILLING:

2 c. sugar (sifted with 4 tsp. flour)
1 1/2 c. cream
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. coconut

Beat until creamy and spread between layers of cake.
