ITALIAN STUFFED MUSHROOMS A LA

1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, cut into 24 slices
24 VERY LG. mushrooms, cleaned with stems removed
5 c. of your favorite Italian tomato sauce
24 slices pepperoni

Mix together as follows into a paste: 1/4 c. parsley 1 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 c. Romano cheese 3 eggs

In a 13 x 9 inch baking pan, arrange mushrooms, put a slice of pepperoni into each cap, add 1 tablespoon crumb mixture, top with a piece of Mozzarella. After you have completed all 24 mushrooms thusly, pour tomato sauce over mushrooms. Bake covered for 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Uncover and bake another 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
