POTATOES AND RUTABAGAS - L.A.'S
FAVORITE
 
2 rutabagas
2 turnips
5 lbs. potatoes
Dash of salt & pepper
Dash of onion salt & onion powder
1 c. butter
Mocha mix

Peel and slice rutabagas, turnips and potatoes. Boil in water. When all is soft, remove from stove, drain water. Mash rutabagas, turnips and potatoes. Sprinkle all seasonings in pot and add 1 cup butter, and enough mocha mix for a nice mashed potato mixture. Serve hot with turkey, chicken fish or meat.

Everyone comes here from LA for Thanksgiving to eat this dish and for Passover too.
