CRISP PICKLE MIX 
4 qt. cucumbers, thin sliced
1 qt. onions
1 qt. cauliflower
1 qt. green tomatoes
1 green pepper
2 tbsp. celery seed
5 c. sugar
3 cloves garlic
1/3 c. ice cream salt
3 c. vinegar

Combine vegetables with garlic and salt. Cover with ice cubes. Mix well and let stand for 3 hours or overnight. Drain well. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables and bring to a boil 10 to 12 minutes. Seal in jars.
