FRENCH SILK PIE 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. nuts
Dash of salt

Stir together - put in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Break into crumbs and put in slightly smaller pan - this is the crust.

FILLING:

2 sticks butter
3 sqs. bitter bar chocolate
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar - add vanilla and melted chocolate. Add eggs one at a time. Beat 5 minutes after each. Pour over crumb crust, chill. Serve with whipped cream. Freezes well.
