CHERRIES IN THE SNOW 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Combine first 4 ingredients for crust. Spread and bake in 9 x 13 pan at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Cool crust, chop to break up and pat firmly in pan.

Mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar, vanilla. Fold in Cool Whip and spoon over the cooled crust. Spoon cherries on top.
