HOMEMADE PRETZELS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour

Mix yeast and warm water. Add salt and sugar. Add flour and knead until smooth. Make into desired shapes. Spray cookie sheet with Pam. Brush dough with beaten egg, sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

i have to say that this recipe is great. me and my son made these about 20 minutes ago and it is awesome. Michelle, i see where the sticky came into play, and we used the veggie oil and it worked perfect and my son had a blast making the pretzels!!!

This recipe is sooo yummy! Tastes exactly like a good old-fashioned pretzel....Mmmmm!! My only problem was the sticky dough, it was nearly impossible to handle. I added a little veggie oil to keep it from sticking to my hands, and voila! Definitely try this recipe!
