FLUFFY HOT CAKES OR WAFFLES 
3 egg yolks
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 2/3 c. buttermilk
3 egg whites

Beat egg yolks; add melted butter. Sift together sugar, flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add buttermilk to egg yolk mixture alternately with the flour. Fold in egg whites beaten stiff. This batter will keep in the refrigerator several days.
