BAKED SPARE RIBS (SWEET AND SOUR
TYPE)
 
2 lb. spare ribs (3 inch)
1 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. port red wine
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. grated ginger
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Fry spare ribs with 1 tablespoon oil, 1 sliced crushed ginger, and 1 clove garlic. Drain the excess oil from spare ribs. Put in baking dish. Put all remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Pour mixture over the spare ribs and and bake in the oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Serve over bed of rice.
