ITALIAN COCONUT CREAM CAKE | |
5 egg yolks 2 c. sugar 1 stick butter 1/2 c. Crisco oil 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. buttermilk 2 c. flake coconut 1/2 c. pecans 1 tsp. vanilla Beat 5 egg whites and fold into mixtures. Pour into three 8 inch pans and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. ICING: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 stick butter 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Sprinkle top with coconut. |
