CARAMEL FUDGE CAKE 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) package of caramels
1/2 c. butter
1 (14 oz.) Eagle Brand milk
1 c. chopped pecans or chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix as package directs. Pour 1/2 the batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 15 minutes. Melt caramels and butter over low heat, remove from heat add Eagle Brand milk and mix well. Spread caramel mixture over cake; spread remaining cake batter over caramel. Top with nuts or chocolate chips return to oven 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
