PEACH GRAVY | |
5 level tbsp. cornstarch 3 level tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 3 c. milk 1/2 c. sugar (more or less depending on sweet 1 lg. can of peaches Take cornstarch to cinnamon. Mix together. Make smooth with milk. Set aside. In a large skillet put peaches and the juices. Smash them good with an old potato masher. Put on stove and bring to a good boil. (No lid). Stir often. When good and hot put in baking soda. Stirring fast and mix well. Pour in milk stirring all the time. (The baking soda keeps the milk from turning sour.) Bring to a boil. Stir in cornstarch and cinnamon. Stirring until it gets thick. Add sugar. Put on bread and enjoy. |
