AMERICAN STYLE ENCHILADAS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. bulk sausage 1 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 2/3 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. salt 1 (29 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 c. water 1 tbsp. chili powder 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 pkg. lg. flour or corn tortillas Brown meat, drain. Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer 10 minutes, let cool. Combine spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, water, 1 tablespoon chili powder; set aside. Spoon 1/4 cup meat across center of tortilla, fold and put into 9x13x2 inch baking pans (you'll need two). Pour half of sauce over each, top with cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. |
