BROCCOLI SOUP 
1 lb. fresh chopped broccoli
1 lg. diced potato
1 med. diced onion
1/2 stick butter
Dash of garlic powder
3 tbsp. granulated chicken bouillon
1 lg. can chicken broth
16 oz. jar Cheez Whiz
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 pt. half & half
1 qt. milk

Cover with water the broccoli, potato, onion, butter, garlic powder and bouillon. Simmer until tender. When done, take a potato masher and mash vegetables. Do not drain vegetables.

Add chicken broth, Cheez Whiz and Cheddar cheese. Let simmer until cheese has melted. Add half & half, milk and salt & pepper to taste. When soup has come back to a boil use cornstarch and milk to thicken. About 3-4 tablespoons cornstarch to 1/3 cup milk.
