NOODLE BAKE | |
8 oz. pkg. egg noodles 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 lb. lean ground beef 1 sm. sour cream 1 sm. cream cheese 8 oz. spaghetti sauce 1/2 c. water 8 oz. cheddar cheese, sharp Cook beef and onion till done. Mix with spaghetti sauce and water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mix sour cream and cream cheese together. Cook egg noodles 8 minutes and drain well. Alternate cream and cream cheese mixture on top of each layer. This should make about three layers. Cook for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Put cheddar cheese on top and cook for 15 minutes more at 350 degrees. This freezes well. Can be cut in serving sizes and wrapped well before freezing and then reheated in the microwave. |
